interior rear latch?

has any one tried to install a rear door latch for barn doors to exit from the inside? i would really love to do this as i use my truck to sleep in when i go camping and its a pain to move around in there with all my stuff

nope. but you could put an electric popper on it with the switch inside the cargo some where. like when used in shaved doors.

and can i use that while keeping the latch thats there useable? that would be perfect

yes. as a matter of fact when you hook it up properly the handle on the out side will move just as if you hand was on it. use an auxiliary output of your alarm and open it that way too.
