Now that it's finally gotten hot enough to use the A/C, I've noticed some issues with mine. On my 2005 z71 Tahoe, with the digital dual climate control up front, while driving the air on the driver's side will get blistering hot and eventually cycle back to cool. While the passenger side (even though set to the same temp), and the rear zones stay blowing ice cold. Initially I thought it was low on freon, but with only one zone being warm I don't think that to be the case. Has anybody else ran into this issue?

I had some weird things going on with my truck as well when I got it. After trying to troubleshoot, what actually fixed it was re calibrating the climate control system. Be sure your system is set to AUTO when you turn the truck off. Remove the hvac fuses for a few minutes, then reinstall. Now start the truck, and DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING! Let it run for 4-5 minutes without any input on the climate control panel. It's worth a shot before you get too deep into troubleshooting.

Doing the reset seems to of done the trick, and I do not hear the ticking coming from behind the dash anymore. A/C stays ice cold.
