were the top 5 items on the mod list after sway bars, exhaust, Tony's lowering kit, & brakes. But they took the longest to obtain, prepare, & install. Mostly due to wait time to build but also time logistics associated with getting them shipped across country to the powder coat shop in Tampa, then time off that i needed to get the powder coating effort completed to what I wanted (i.e. masking).
So started with requesting full polish on the wheel inner and outer barrel and the face of course.
Once completed, get them palletized and shipped to Tampa.
Once received coordinate color combo and volunteer to assist with the prep process given the fact that the masking effort is tedious and my buddy keeps crazy busy with work. Aside from the fact that he is one of the best in the powdercoat business. In part, it's because we are good friends and we share the same passion for vehicles, mods, etc.
Spent more than a full day prepping, masking, and making sure they were ready to get powder coated. Went home and let the team work their magic. The folks outdid themselves as always. Had the backside done as well to get that little extra protection from the elements on the far side, specifically at the weld locations which have been known to leak regardless of brand name. Moisture will find it's way through metals and welds over time.
