Looking to increase fuel mileage on my 2012 Yukon. I want to get a good tuner and was looking into the Diablosport Intune. Just wondering what kind of fuel econ gain I would get. Just got a new job driving 100 miles a day. I'm looking to gain maybe 2-3 MPG. Also entertaining the idea of a cat back exhaust. Any body have any recommendations and what sounds good with the 4 cylinder deactivation? Thanks.

You'll be defeating the purpose by removing the DOD, especially driving 100 miles a day.
DOD can be disabled with your tune.
I'm not too fond of programmer style tuners, get in touch with BlackBear for all your tuning needs and wants. They'll set you straight.
As for the exhaust, I'm looking around for something myself. I'm a big fan of Magnaflow so I may go that route. Others seem to like Corsa. I'm going to cut off the rear resonator first, then go from there.

Do you feel like the 8 to 4 cylinder deactivation even does anything? I'm sure for speeds under 55 it might help some, but for 70mph and up I feel like it has very minuscule positive effect on fuel economy. I would rather just have all 8 all the time. And I have heard other vehicle with the 8 to 4 cylinder deactivation with a custom exhaust setup and when they go in and out of 8-4 it sounds pretty terrible.

cb,
In all honesty, this whole 8 cylinder to 4 cylinder crap is ridiculous.
Having an earlier edition DOD vehicle. I'm no fan of it. That's just my opinion.
BUT, you do have a newer model and I have not heard anything negative about them not working.
You are correct, they sound terrible with an exhaust. I think that has to do with any year DOD vehicle.
I just had my Tahoe dyno/road tuned. From my understanding FlexFuel vehicles have some kind of tuning involved for the use of E85, getting that tuned out will drastically increase your MPGs, by how much is a guess. That's just what was explained to me.
You should get in touch with Black Bear, explain everything you want and he will do it.
Plus it'll sound better with an exhaust, hah.
