Iphone 6 plus and the center console

This may sound dumb but will the 6+ fit in the center console cutout? I'm ready to toss the blackberry and go back to the iphone. I know the 6 will fit fine since the wife has one but I've been leaning towards the plus but this could change my mind as I plan on adding wireless charging in the future and it would be pointless if the phone doesn't fit.

Unless you do a ton of driving I don't think I'd base the phone choice on where it fits in the vehicle. I'd more so compare the specs against the 6 & 6 Plus to what you want out of the phone itself. Just my .02 though...

I don't have any sort of need for the six plus but wouldn't be against it. I never leave my phone in my pocket so the size doesn't bother me there. I want to add wireless charging down the road as I always keep my phone on the console and I love the way my blackberry sits on there. If the plus would've fit I would've considered it more.

I don't like putting stuff there. Open the armrest and your phone is on the floor in the back. If you get a text, you can't glance at the phone without moving your head. Sorry, just not a fan.

Iphone 6+ even without a case won't work on the charging pad at all?? That's a bummer, especially considering some of the Android phones are bigger than the 6+ and have been out for awhile. No way to work around this to make the 6+ charge w/ the wireless setup?

The iPhones don't natively support wireless charging. You will need to get a battery case that is compatible with the wireless charging standard. Perhaps the iPhone 6S will support it when it comes out this fall...

I have no problem buying a case or attachment to support Qi, my question was is there a way to make the Iphone 6 plus fit inside the charging area. It sounds like initial feedback says it is too big to fit, I wasn't sure if there was a workaround or if the case is what it too large.

The phone itself is too large and adding the wireless charging case will blow it out of the water. I believe a wireless charging case on the 6 will make it too big to fit in there also.
