Irritating door buzzer

Does anyone know how to disable the solid beeping/buzzing sound when the door is open and the key is in the ignition? It drives me insane.

There's a black box you can remove. I honestly can't remember where it is but im sure someone will chime (lol) in and let you know.

No, it's the actual buzzer you're pulling out, it just has multiple pins for the different instances of the chime. Further on in that post, some people modify theirs to only chime on certain things by cutting some of the pins, but it's just plain easier to pull it out.
