So these are my AC controls, front:

and rear:

This is my rear "entertainment" system:

When I press the button circled in red, the screen reads "OFF."

Why are there AC controls on this if I can control the rear AC from the overhead? Do they override the overhead ones? Also, why doesn't it work?

And where is the air supposed to come from when air flow is in the circled position (pointing towards the feet)?:

The air comes from the vent behind the passenger rear seat, the closest to the rear heater core, at least that's where mine comes from.

Put overhead left knob in aux position, that will allow control of rear AC from rear contol panel.

Derp.

^ what he said. also when vent knob is on feet, it directs the air to vents in the rear, to under the front seats, that are pointed towards the rear of the vehicle.

the overhead controls in the front are a master unit. controls in the rear are a slave. if front isnt in aux, rear controls cant be used.
