Is there a better manual shift button set-up?

I do not like the tiny manual shift button on the 6 speed trans, mounted on the shifter arm, and wondered if there was any ideas? I liked the detent shifter better on my 08 4 speed.

I dont like the 6 speed shifter button either but thought they all came that way. Now i'm curious how the 4speed one looks.

The 4 speed didn't have a button, it was physically moving the lever through the gears. I learned how to drive with a 3 on the tree manual, and it comes naturally.

if you do some research, it is less of a shift button and more of a don't shift yet button. there is no cure for this I am aware of.

Recalibration should fix this issue.
