Is there a simple way to make the ABS light turn off after disconnecting the ABS?

Hey guys...so I got the issue with the ABS engaging when at slow speeds.
So I disconnected the ABS connections at the front wheels, and pulled the 10 amp fuse. So now my ABS orange light is constantly on.
Is there any way to make this light stay off without tearing apart the dash to pull the bulb, or waiting for it to burn out?
Thanks so much for the help! I really appreciate it.

Fix your abs? Lol I mean come on man...

LOL...good point...however, I am not a fan of ABS, so don't want it fixed. I feel better with it dis-engaged. I grew up pumping my brakes, and my Tahoe now actually stops at a shorter distance without ABS. I don't want to get into a big thing about ABS and anti-ABS...I just want the light off from the dash. ABS being disconnected is not my concern....the light being on, however, is.
Thanks though. I appreciate the input.

Pull cluster out and remove bulb, or fix ABS. That's all there is to do.

Unless you know someone with Tech2 that can turn off the code.
As I doubt HPtuners or EFIlive can do it.

FYI, your a fool to think you stop shorter without ABS.
When you get into a wreck and the insurance people along with cops find out. YOU are 100% liable due to tampering with the vehicles safety equipment.

GL, May your Darwin Trophy Award shine brightly.

Thank you for that FYI...I never thought of the insurance implications.
ABS does NOT help you stop quicker, however. Its simple physics really. Its there to help you steer away from a collision, and stop you from skidding out of control, not stop faster. ABS also has limitations on gravel or in snow. Hard breaking, which causes the wheels to lock up is very effective as the locked wheels easily dig into the snow and gravel, stopping the vehicle. With ABS braking, however, the brakes don't lock up and stopping distance is therefore increased, causing the likelihood of a collision to increase. Some experienced drivers also dislike ABS as they know how to stop in an emergency without locking the wheels in an even shorter distance than with ABS. Some drivers complain that ABS sometimes activates when the brakes are applied very lightly if the car is on a bumpy surface. Its a myth that ABS stops the car quicker...that is just plain wrong.
As stated earlier...I don't want to get into an ABS vs Non-ABS argument.
Thanks for your input and advice. It is greatly appreciated. I think I will have to get the ABS fixed due to insurance implications...much to my dismay.
