put a little dab of gorilla glue in the hole, let it dry 24hrs, they wont come out no more
Tried it, that and epoxy, plastic epoxy and regular super glue.
Cleaned it real good with acetone beforehand too.
Only thing I can do now is wire the rubber to the plastic or create some sort of magnet system..
Almost just not worth it all, that's why I'm asking.
Can't imagine it having any other purpose but looks?
I was pretty sure that were the case, but I've been surprised before so I thought I'd ask... I think ill just stow it away then. its a pain to put back on, very surprised how a mild leveling kit has decreased my reach under the hood. I'm 6' 1 and have a hard time reaching the rear of the motor.
I only worry about snow melt and it puddling in the valleys on top the engine...don't know if the plastic shield would help deflect any of that...
It does provide some protection from oil splashing on it etc...I was just commenting on how ugly the motors are, not sure if the cover provides any protection or not. It would seem to me that it does a little bit though, haven't given it much thought.
