I've never seen this under oil fill cap

Check everything good. 8 push rods and 8 rockets were shot on mine.

Wow. I am so thankful. :roflbow: This is under the valve cover with the filler neck. A little bit of a mystery. But maybe the build up in the neck was in fact caused by condensation.

I agree with Undy. But at $25, you could go ahead and do oil test. I have never done one but heard good things about them. Find out how extensive they are and what they test for. Sniffer test next time you take it in would not hurt as well. If you have AAA and take it to one of their facilities, they may not charge you.

Makes sense about the oil test. I'll likely go ahead and do it. I have really learned a lot during this experience. Thanks to everyone.

I pulled the driver side cover tonight and found the same great news.:)

I also got the test kit in the mail from Blackstone today. Oil sample will go out soon.
