Yes tried it on my 21 Tahoe RST.
Been checking Amazon and found a refurbished S9 for like 160. Will be my go to lol.
Also the key is to not update Android auto to latest version can’t remember number but good ok google and you can find previous versions and update or downgrade to that as an apk file and you’re golden.
