Got in an accident two days ago. I was going up a hill and it was down pouring, got to the top of hill and meant a line of traffic stopped. I locked the brakes up and couldn't stop in time and smashed into the back of the van in front of me and pushed it into the car in front of it. Not good.

Damn! I hope you and everyone involved is OK. How'd the Denali make out?

I'm good, back was a little sore but good now. Everyone else made it out ok too.

Denali is good too. There's stress cracking in the paint where I'm assuming the bumper got pushed in and popped back out, luckily that's the only damage.

My first thought was well "this is gonna be expensive...."

Yeah honestly shit happens sometimes. I feel really dumb, but it's whatever. Everyone is ok and bumper will be fixed
Well thats good.... betcha that foam underbumper cover is cracked though....if it was that hard of a hit like your sayin i wonder if the 'metal' bumper is bent too? Curious to see what you find. Glad you guys are ok.

I sorts did the same thing last summer with mine. Never fun. It really sucks. Although when I did mine, the other car took 5 grand worth of read end damage apparently, while my Denali's bumper just twisted a bit. No really damaged to my truck. But my insurance though.... Glad you're okay!
