I just bought a Alpine touch screen In-dash CD DVD player for my 07 Tahoe, I was wondering who sells the plastic adapter the unit slides in, in the dash itself ? Thanks for the help

Any local car audio shop will normally carry it. Best Buy will have it also.

I don't care for the Scosche one I got from Crutchfield. Its a multi-piece design and is not as clean as some of the other ones I have seen posted here of folk's installs.

Gotta agree with you there. The one I put in my Sierra was a PITA but I don't know how many options you have.

IVA-W505? Alpine makes a badass head unit, check out their imprint sound processing if you're building a big stereo.

Have you looked at everything else you need for the install? Wiring harness is not cheap and you will loss your steering wheel controls unless you buy an adapter. Also going to lose multi zone audio if the headunit is not capable of it.

Just wanted to point those few things out to you if you didn't know already.
