Well i got my oil leak fixed... I originally thought it was the rear main seal. It wasnt. It was my oil cooler adapter where the oil filter goes in. it had a really bad nasty gasket in it... anyone that is having that rear main seal leak check out that adapter. its a pretty easy fix. just make sure you get the mounting set from autozone. theres an orange o ring and 2 small black orings in where the lines for the cooler go in. and a gasket. fixed it and drove it around and now theres no leak. cept for my powersteering pump... gotta fix it now... but yea if you guys are having that leak look again and change your mounting gaskets on the oil cooler adapter and see if that helps! hope someone has the same luck as me!

Nick.

96procomptahoe- yea mine wasnt real bad either... but it got real cold down here in texas. lol! so the oil pressure went up and there was a huge puddle of oil. atleast a quart and a half of oil. so yea not saying urs is gunna do it sooner or later... but might b going soon.

hey procomp.

is it the power steering gear seal kit or the power steering seal kit? yes there different. i was just looking on autozone.com and they had like 5 different seal kits... just wondering if you knew which one or could give me a link?

i don't have a clue offhand. haven't tracked mine to exactly where it is leaking. neither are leaking bad enough to leave spots in the driveway or anything, just the bottom of the truck and surrounding components.

unknown at this time.
Actually it should be the resistance of the tread contact(Bigger tire-more tread contact) or stabilizer that would be the strain not really the diameter.
