Hello everyone, the wife and I just had a couple kids and we didn't want to buy a mini-van, so we broke down and got a kid hauler. We call it the MUAV, the Mommy Urban Assault Vehicle. It's a 2011 Yukon XL 3/4 ton, 4x4. Checked every option we could get with it except roof clearance lights and the one ton truck style towing mirrors.
I joke with the wife that we're going to lift this and put super swampers under it, but really, it's her vehicle and it'll be kept fairly stock. I've got several projects of my own to be messing with her stuff.
Anyway, here's a pic of the new rig.
(That's my daily driver GTO in the background. I'm kind of embarrassed it's not washed and presentable in the picture, but we literally bought the Yukon and then left on a 12 hour drive for Christmas.)
And, here's two of the reasons we got a family vehicle.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing things that you guys have done to your vehicles and I'll probably do a few things to this one. I'd like to swap out the grill for a Denali one. Don't know if 2011 is the same as the older ones, but it looks like it'd swap over. I think they just look a little better. Anyway, hello!
Albert
