Does it matter what way you put a lowering spring in? Like what's the top and the bottom and what difference does it make????

I always have the dead coils facing up on a progressive spring as the one you show above. ON the liner spring like my custom 6" drop springs it doesnt matter.

I don't know what you mean by dead coils. The tighter side down and the more open goes up? Sorry, new guy here.

dead coils means coils that are closer and they are ones that touch when load is applied.

Ok, I got it. So does it affect the ride either way? My tahoe just feels like it shoves the shit out of me on the rear on bumps.
