K&N vs. Bully Dog Air Intake

Which cold air intake is better for my 04 Yukon XL 5.3L. The K&N is cheaper, but I want the one that will give me the most performance. Thanks.

Well, to throw a 3rd option out there I got the airaid jr kit & did the swiss cheese airbox mod. I think that combo is best after looking around.

The airaid jr kit is just a k&n style cleanable air filter & a much better air tube. The swiss cheese airbox mod http://tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14022 will give you a stock appearance with high flow capacity.

Just another to consider.

If you are still finding for something else here, why would you try some other air intake brands like airaid and the like in order to compensate your needs in the future. I hope that all will be well in your search for the air intake.

Yea I have done the swiss cheese mod, but I want more airflow and a project so I am going to build my own intake out of 4" Black Plastic ABS pipe. I plan to post pics and a write up when I'm done.
