Standard height struts not their lifted versions.

I think I want to firm them up some more. They are set at 5 or half way right now.

Why are you interested? You no like your new coilovers or you just curious?

That’s a lot of mileage, and quite the setup! An unusual mod I’d say, but pretty cool.

I posted this earlier in this thread but here it is again for anyone interested...

The higher lead content I attribute to the cheap Chinese oil cooler I installed. It is a plate and fin style cooler and my guess is they probably soldered it together with lead since China doesn't have all the EPA regulations like we do over hear..I figure it may be leaching into the oil... but that is just a guess.

Since this was my first UOA I don't have any reports from before the install of the cooler to compare it to.

The TBN report shows that the additives package in the oil was still good so I could have gone further with mileage. It was a 3.0... they recommend changing the oil if it drops below 1.5 I believe.

Keep in mind when you compare my numbers to the "average" column on the right that the "average" mileage was 5,600 miles and mine is more than double that.

I run extended oil change intervals (10-15,000 miles) because I used to be an over the road truck driver (armored carrier for the US Govt.) They would keep us out 6-8 weeks at a time and then home for a week and back out for 6-8 weeks... etc.

I didn't want to have to worry about my wife getting the oil changed at some quick lube place because I don't trust any of them.

I have always ran Mobil 1 full synthetic but I started running the extended performance 15,000 mile oil... so I decided to give the oil the best chance at staying clean by adding the bigger dual filters. The factory oil filter is tiny compared to these. These 2 combined are 4.5 times the size/volume of the stock filter.

Plus I have always hated how the oil pan wraps half way around the filter, making it difficult to remove by hand.

The bigger filters, oil cooler, and EP oil seem to do the trick... my last oil change, and first Blackstone report indicated that I could have pushed the OCI out further safely and that was at 13k+ miles on that oil.... very clean oil though according to Blackstone's report.

It may be over kill but I figure why not... I always like to try to improve and upgrade where I can.
Very cool! Now that I’ve seen this I’m thinking about it too because I also hate how the oil pan wraps around the oil filter! Always more difficult than it should be to remove and install the filter. Just seems much more convenient to have them where you have them :)

Very cool! Now that I’ve seen this I’m thinking about it too because I also hate how the oil pan wraps around the oil filter! Always more difficult than it should be to remove and install the filter. Just seems much more convenient to have them where you have them :)

Have you guys run the larger oem filter? It hangs below the pan a little and makes it so much easier to twist on and off.
