Key change out problems...

Hey there guys and gals, I have an 04 hoe. I have the key tool, but am having one hell of a time removing the key. The bar seems stuck in the key... Even after hour of beating it with a hammer.

Did you remove the adjustment bolt and the threaded part and let the key hang free? It may be rusted together. The ones I've done came apart pretty easy, but I don't really have rust issues.
