Sorry for missing the last post. With the AP8 it means you have the option for the remote start. If it hasn't already been activated by the dealership or from the factory, you can have it done at the dealership to have the remote start function enabled. You will need to have the correct remote for the remote start in order for it to work. I found this out only after the fact from another forum member.
