Basically the motor sometimes starts to slow down. The switch responds in the same ratio, i.e. goes even slower when going to a lower setting.

Everytime we are able to kick/tap it and it will pick back up speed. Usually full swing on the first tap.

Im curious to know which component could do this and if its repairable. I think the first thing im going to try to do is take it all apart, clean, and WD40 the motor (if needed).

Decided to go all out and buy a new one (lifetime warranty) from AZ. Also cleaned the evap with degreaser and water hose :D

Hopefully not a short and the new one will keep me happy.
