Anyone experience a Knock or Thump in Steering Wheel when turning? Seems to happen randomly, but mostly when coming out of a turn and returning steering to center. I'm a few hundred miles from my 45000 service so I will definitely mention it when I bring her in and update here.

Edit: I own a 2015 Yukon XL

I have had a steering column replaced and then they just replaced the bearings on the steering column a month ago againi. Known problem that the Dealer should fix.

Not for sure on newer models but all the 96-06 and I have seen a few on the 07+ truck models have an issue with the intermediate shaft u joints. These are just the models I've seen since I work on Hondas all day.

Yes - exact same symptoms - when in an extended highway turn, and when turning back to center, it wanted to hang in the turing position. At first I thought it was "ruts" in the roadway but after closer observation it was not "ruts." Dealer replaced steering gear and problem seems to be gone. Didn't occur often but noticeable when it did occur.
