larger master cylinders

what are my options for factory larger master cylinders?

What do you currently have?? If I recall right the 8500 stuff was a different part number from autozone (bigger) the lower GVW stuff is the stuff that Tahoe had factory. Been a while since I had to research this ...

i have hydrobost off of a 1992 burban im going with the jb7 master which looks like the biggest i can slap on there

Purpose of this? Might be replacing my master today, and if I can bolt on better than stock, then Im in!

Wrong.

You need bigger brakes with that bigger master or your braking is going to be worse.

dude it's fluid physics if you have a larger diameter master it takes less pedal effort to achieve the same clamping force.....hence better brakes

Yes more fluid, but less pressure. You will need more pedal to get the same pressure as the factory master cylinder.

If you want spongy brakes, put on a bigger master cylinder.
