I'm wanting to get a larger tire than the stock 265/65/R18 that I have on my 2019 4WD LS. I saw on some other forums where people seem to favor the 275/70/R18, but details are a little sketchy about how well that fits.

I was curious if anyone knows if that tire will fit without a front leveling kit. If I need a kit, what size would I need? Or would a different size tire be more better?

If someone had photos of what that might look like I would appreciate it.

1/2" larger on paper. over 1" taller overall when installed. I had them installed on factory rims. 4x2 Tahoe and then 4x4 Suburban. Perfect size with ZERO rubbing anywhere. Speedo is off by 2mph at highway speeds. about 1 MPG loss. But that is mostly because I'm running Load Range E vice P rated.

When these wear down, I will buy another set. General Grabber AT-2 in Range E. Highly highly recommend.

Best image I have at the moment. I'll get better pictures next week after all of my upgrades are installed. I've revamped the entire rig

No, but now that the weather is cooler and I can actually go outside, I can work on this.

That plus tire size would work for sure. I'm going to go 285/65/18 on the stock rims next time. Shouldn't be an issue because the Denali comes on 285/45/22 and those two are essentially the same dimensions

I’m considering the front end leveling kit just for better looks. When I did it to my truck it looked a bunch better. That front air dam may go too.

285/65R18 and 275/70R18 are the two most common sizes. I have seen people report rubbing as well as no rubbing with both tire size (usually with at least 2” level). I’ve decided to go with the 275 personally just because of the high offset of the factory 18s I’d rather have rubbing from a taller tire rather than from a wider tire based on where/what they’d rather rub.

275:
