Does anybody have a laser jammer? I got popped on I-70 in an "accident reduction corridor" where they had marked the speed limit down from 70 to 55 and doubled the fine. I was doing 68 in the 55 and my fine was 202. I'm not doing this again so starting to look for jammers. Any suggestions?

I would just hardwire a V1 radar detector because if they catch the laser jammer on you will probably be cuffed but that's just me

Do some research on the guy that holds the record for fastest time driving across the US. He has lots of info on jammers, detectors, etc. He even has a few videos on YouTube showing how they work. Unfortunately, I don't recall his name at the moment. I just remember he had a blue BMW.

Go on radardetectorforum.org they are VERY helpful.
Jammers are really expensive though good kits cost upwards of 2k

The Laser speed devices these days have a "jam" indicator on them. If that pops up your car can be stopped and depending what state your in, can be impounded. I would just get a good radar/laser detector and pay close attention to the road AHEAD and BEHIND you!!

Thanks for the replies guys. Just to share some of my research, I found the following that may be helpful.

Laser Jammers and Radar Jammers are illegal in the states of Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC.
If you decide to use a laser jammer in one of the states that they are outlawed, consider getting the Blinder M-20 or M-40 or the Lidakek LE-30. The Blinder and the Lidatek are the only laser jammers made today that give minimal "error codes" to the police laser guns.
