I just got back from the store and while reversing into my driveway I suddenly hit the brake when I seen a little kid on a bike. Upon hitting the brake I heard water slooshing back and fourth, turns out the driver side rear door has water in it. What could this be?

It's actually very common ... I used to have it on both rear doors on my Hybrid.

It drained when I parked at an incline and opened the doors wide open.

My truck was under warranty so the dealer dealt with it at some point, but it never really went away. I'm pretty sure it's a design flaw in the sills and water gets in on some trucks.

I didnt have it as bad where you could hear it but when I replaced the rear speakers due to them sounding like shit. The guys at custom sounds told me it had water in it. Found the hole where the water is suppose to drain out and it was just clogged.

but kicker speakers ftw Marine grade!

I'm pretty sure there have been about 100 threads about this, including one in the past few days. There are some drain plugs near the bottom of the door that are plugged up (I think they're under the rubber door seal on the bottom of the door)
