o.k i bought this truck recently and it had some problems. im getting them fixed and they are not that serious. but i have a leak that i cant figure out. all seals appear to be new but somehow the floors next to the door seem to be wet. if anyone has fixed this please let me know. also i have a sunroof but it was sealed shut by the previous owner.

make sure the floor boards are not rotted out.. that could be the source and not the seals

john what truck do you have? i would start by pulling the carpet back and looking around to see where whater may be coming from. you said the factory sunroof was sealed, but it may not be sealed well and may be letting water in. i dont know where the drain line from it runs, but i would bet water is coming in that way. another potential place is around the windshield, it could be leaking down the firewall/kick anel area. we have had a ton of rain the past week in tampa from the hurricane, dont know if you are getting it where you are, but this hard ass rain will drive water into the tiniest of leaks.

I had a similar issue a year back when it rained or I go through the car wash. My leak came from the rubber grommet under the carpet on the drivers side.(it's the grommet that feeds the ebrake cable through the floor) used some rtv to seal it shut, also some ppl would have leaks from the door grommet that feeds the wires into the door.
