leather seat repair?

Does anyone have a fix for tearing leather seats? Ive got a area that is worn and finally split open. Can anyone recommend a repair fix other than replacing? I just want to stop further spread of the tearing.

I know some upholstery shops will take off that small section of the seat and sew a new one on matching the factory stitching. Pretty good repair option if they have it where you are.

yea i was watching that. Even in the infomercial it looked like it wasnt working. LOL. Id be better off with Duct tape.
