Was looking to put Depos on my 06 Z71 with my 35w hid’s. I’ve read LED’s are a good upgrade for the high beams instead of hid’s. Was wondering what people do for LED bulbs for high beams

The only reason the HIDs aren't great for high beams is because they take a few seconds to warm up. If your lights are the factory setup; your lows will turn off when you turn on your highs, and you have those few seconds of no and low light when warming up. If you do the 4 on (or 6 on) mod, then there's really no difference, and both will provide more than enough light. Not sure if you have HIDs in your low, but with those, even driving in the zero city lights of west Texas I-10, I have never needed high beams.

I can't compare the two, but just making sure you know about why, and that you can do the 4 on mod to expand your options.
