LED Light Bar mounted in Z71 Rack?

The only downside I see is the light output will not be as strong since the roof is reflecting a lot of the beam. Better projection if there are no obstacles

I've thought about this but facing the rear, with a slight tint. Just for those tailgaters/impatient ass holes in traffic. Also auxiliary reverse when light is needed.

Done it. Been done about a year. Lights up great. I actually have mine mounted between the front caps. 42in bar used brackets for a 52in curved bar.

I order the brackets for a 52 like I said. But I had to open them up some to fit correctly. I welded three nuts on some 1/8 flat stock about an inch wide put them on the inside of the caps and used stainless bolts.

That's actually a really good way to cut down on the extreme foreground lighting that actually hurts your distance view because it's so bright.

Crcz71 - does it interfere with your sunroof at all?
