So I am an idiot and hooked up my led tails wrong. I bought them from x3 racing on ebay. Know of course they dont work. No stop or tailight. Reverse lights work and I have rapid blinkers. I have checked every fuse under the hood. The lights are hooked up correctly now. I even bought a new brake switch but still no brake lights or anything. I had autozone check the Park LP relay under the hood and they said its fine. Any other ideas? Please help its a daily driver and I need it fixed. TIA

u sure they are hooked up right? the LEDs form X3 hook up all out of order from stock. if u do it backwards, you WILL get rapid blinker and no other lights. simple as that. if u got it hooked up right, swap out a stock light again to make sure its not the truck but i guarantee its the wrong order of plugs. the top of the X3s is the tail/stop. the middle is turn only, the bottom socket of course is the reverse lamp. the top plug from the OE light should go to the middle of the LED tail. The middle (reverse) of the OE light should go to the bottom, and the bottom plug from the OE light should go to the top of the LED light. then it all works fine. instructions are included in the box to avoid this issue :) and u arent the first.

PS check all the fuses. i dont have our XL here right now but im sure theres a panel at the end of the dash that probally has the brake/tail/turn fuses in case u blew one when u had it hooked up wrong.

chauncey you were exactly right. I didn't find instructions in the box it only had the warning tags on the black wires that said "black to black". Anyways I just ran outside and hook them up "correctly" now they work great and look 100 times better than the euros I took off. Thanks for the help guys.

I hooked mine up wrong first as well, I think i put the brake lights in the spot of the turn signals on both sides, and it was all messed up.

I'd love to take credit but actually it was 2005yukonxl who was right.

Just got the x3s yesterday and got the rapid blinker too. Thanks for posting the correct hook up order to fix this.
