Led turn signals question

Some websites recommend a pair of load resistors for LED turn signal lights. Will it work or burn out faster if I don't get load resistors?

There are plenty of threads on this but..... unless you like fast blinkers then yes you need them, also need them for break light leds or youll loose your cruise control.
