ive thought about this as well, i need my oem hu but i want to color change to blue and i have a bulb or 2 out

U can open them its just finding the bulbs or chip sets there was a guy on here that did it but cant find the post

naked as in they are bulbs directly soldered in, no holder

they are most likely just normal bulbs but can be turned into led
