Length of your ride height sensors

So I did the 3" upper and lower control arms in the front from DJM (pretty low) and the Belltech 4" drop in the rear. I'm playing with the ride height sensors trying to determine how short I want them to get the full rear drop without starting to lose the characteristics of the autoride system.

The shop had them at 3.2 inches and the rear was still not fully dropped so I cut them down to 2.7 and the rear is now lower. Wheels started to rub and had to zip tie the wheel well housing tighter to the frame.

Anyone have a 4" rear drop? how short is "just right"? I wonder if I can get it lower by cutting them even shorter......

*my measurements are from the middle of the ball holder thingy down to the middle of the other ball holder thingy.

if you want to go lower rrailblazer djm 4 inch rear springs will do it.

i was pretty sure you could only go 2/3 on the GMT900 SUVs with Autoride? Do you have a hyperlink to this 3/4 kit for Autoride applications???

actaully 3.75 is what it comes out to for the belltech set up but its the spring that keeps it up. With the shorter spring and shorter links you can go lower no problem wiht the trailblazer 4 inch djm rear spring.

doesnt matter. you just can shorten your stock links put the trailblazer djm 4 inch springs in along with the rear kit and then adjust as needed. the djm springs let the truck sit lower and the autoride will still get tricked to sit lower.

gotcha. i would have thought this would sacrafice the ride quality of the autoride. I didn't realize the autoride could fluxuate 4"+. pretty cool stuff!

just less air in the shocks. Btw ditch the shocks f it lol

gotcha. I didn't think they could collapse 4" and still ride stock in the rear, and then 3" in the front, that was my only concern.

We're very pleased with the autoride on the suburban. Definetly noticeable over the stock suburban suspension we've been in.
