I've always wanted a SUV that sat at a good height but when I got my 2008 Yukon Hybrid, I thought there would be no way I can make this look the way I want. I wanted the off road look. I did some thinking...

Here she is bone stock

I thought to myself, "If you can put a leveling kit on a regular Yukon, why not a Hybrid?" So I bought a CCM 2.5"/1" leveling kit. I live in Memphis and I called SOOO many people to see if they could put it on for me and all said no! (I know, I could've done it myself but I didn't want to haha) FINALLY, this backwoods shop said they would do it! so $300 later... she was level!

Well now she has tiny tires... To fix that issue I bought 285/65/r18 Nitto Trail Grapplers.

Then I took her through some mud.. but nothing where I could get stuck haha only 2 wheel drive........ :disgust:

bad picture.. Sorry.

After all that, why not paint the rims black??

Now she's perfect! As for my mpg.. I was averaging 21 before the leveling kit and tires and now I average 15-17. Gotta make sacrifices to make it look the way you want!

Here is a list of what all I've done:
-Matte black grille
-Matte black rims
-Matte black lettering
-Matte black taillights
-CCM 2.5"/1" Leveling Kit
-285/65/r18 Nitto Trail Grapplers
-Dual Flowmaster Exhaust
-15% Window tint

Smh at the title... but it looks pretty good. Maybe remove/cut the bottom of the valance. I'm really liking the black hybrid wheels.

Looks great! I was reading about the Pro Ryde Lift Machine front leveling kit (74-1000G) and it mentioned that it will not work for any truck with the JL4 Stabilitrak with traction control. Did you have any issues with that? Perhaps its only an issue when you go up to 3" lift in front? Did you see any tight wires after you lifted yours?

Gotta ask, why a hybrid? and do that kind of stuff that makes it get worse gas mileage than a non-hybrid?
