So my sister in law scored a few extra tickets to the Red Sox/Rangers game in Arlington on Saturday. It was our 17th Wedding anniversary, so we packed up & headed to the game (My wife, my 5 yr old son, and me).
Decided to take the wife's Grand Cherokee instead of the 'Hoe to save a few $ in gas. Guess the Tahoe has spoiled me, because I felt crowded the whole ride...then about 1/2 way there I realized that we need to get her A/C serviced. Air was blowing semi-cool, not cold. This isn't something you want to find out when its 104 degrees outside.
I also found out I'm more comfortable weaving in & out of traffic when I have my Li'l one safely buckled into the middle of the rear seat in the Tahoe instead of the rear passenger side of the Cherokee.
Don't get me wrong, we still had a great weekend...I'm not complaining...just sharing.
We had a great time, especially since Boston won....but next road trip I'm definitely taking the Tahoe. That is what I bought it for. The added comfort/feeling of safety is worth the extra few bucks in gas. Plus we could have piled everyone going with us into one ride instead of taking two to the game.
I keep trying to convince my wife that when we decide to trade the Jeep in we should get her a Tahoe or an Esky, but she insists she wants another Cherokee...
