Lift gate handle switch

hey guys. I just bought a 2007 Tahoe Ltz from the stealership. Pretty upset with them already but that's besides the point. It has power lift gate and it was working great. But now it won't open or close by use of the handle switch on the gate itself. I can use overhead button by the mirror, key fob, and the square button to close it. Those all work great. Any common issues I should look at? Hoping it's just that switch.
