WHERE'S MY GEAR PEOPLE!! OK so i wanna know (FROM PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY KNOW)

gears...

i kno everyone wants 4.56 4.60s
cuz they want good mpg and low rpms on the free way
but whats a good gear for off road now i have 3.73's eaton posi
35 swamper's 6 inch lift

and at 70mph i get 2k rpms like right on 2k not any higher

and i get like 7.8mpg on average some times i get like 8.5 depending on how much city/hwy driving i do

reguard less i wanna kno if 3.73 is good for taking the truck on the trails and towing my boat up steep boat launches... blah blah blah

3.73s are good for nothing with 35s! 4.56 will get you close to how the truck was from the factory. If you want a little more low end punch and dont care about mileage go with 4.88s.

4.88, end of story. If I was doing it again I would do a 4.88. but nothing less than 4.56. The truck will feel like a beast with some gears...3.73 SUCKS with 35s. even with my 383 pushing it the 3.73 sucked for me.

I would say 4.88s with the tires that you are running now considering you are running a 16 wide tire that is a heavy tire
