Interesting. And you have magnaride?

https://motofablifts.com/i-30558278...r-leveling-lift-kit.html?ref=category:1390565

Motofab told me I needed this bracket. But if I dont I would rather keep my appointment this week and get this rig leveled out.

To my understanding, all high countrys have magnaride. When i ordered a kit nobody had any out with a magnaride bracket, so i was that i could use the old brackets i had from her ‘16 denali. When i got installing it i couldnt even find the arms for the ride height sensors…at least ones like the ‘16 had. So i said screw it and installed the kit without them. Never had an issue. That was 30+k miles ago.

I looked and I couldn't find any.

I brought up that it was the older generation but he was adamant that i needed them for my 22.

I dont doubt there is an arm somewhere that could use the bracket…but in my case it was not needed.

Hey y’all. I know this is a dumb question because I know it’s not the smartest of ideas, but I have reason to believe it would work.

I looked over another post discussing the Hurst Autoplex 4” lift. I was wondering, instead of installing a 2020 kit, could I take a RC 3.5” kit and add a .5” booster plate from Supreme? It comes with new arms and I think you could maybe push it a touch. My wife and I are getting a new z71 with no magnaride or airbags. I had a 2020 with a 3.5” kit and no new upper arms and it operated great. Let me know if I’m way off base or if they could possibly work.

as a mall crawler, you wont see teh movement required to NEED to increased angles of the new arms. That said, you stock arm angle will be maxxed out and any reason to NEED travel could result in breaking a ball joint.

please, do not drive in y state after completing this idea..EVERYONE ants CHEAP appearance type mods...there are reasons why engineered, insured companies offer certain amounts or added items to complete.

you could stack spacers to get the absolute max travel in one direction, but why would you want to...if you want 4", get a 4" with a cradle that corrects the angles.
DO NOT FORGET BUMPSTEER,

I agree that with stock arms, it would be a terrible idea to stretch it that far. The RC kit comes with the new bulky UAs . If they made a 4" kit that would be what I would buy. I just figured that if Hurst Autoplex is putting on 2020 4" kits (which is just strut spacers and new upper arms) why would it be a massive jump up to just add it to the RC kit.

Also, full disclosure, it would be a parking lot queen 95% of the time. I take a yearly trip to Colorado to visit family and encounter some snow but nothing crazy. I don't go off roading, overlanding or on back trails. Ive considered a 6" lift but that would affect my parking situation.

agreed, i would probably push an after market arm.

i have been meaning to ask a family member, but i do believe he is personal friends with the owner ship of Hurst.
