Obviously this has been a touchy question since way back when, but what i am wondering is if people can list some of the pros and cons of each path so to speak. I am generally experienced on what these SUVs behave with such modifications. I am really interested in hearing others input on this. I am considering either a 4'' suspension lift with some 20x12 fuels and 33x12.5 nitto 420s or a DJM 3/5 drop with 24'' Oem replicas. List your .02 below! Mind you this vehicle is going to see little to no off road use.
EDIT: I do live in the Midwest so winter snow is a factor!!

I'd lift it. I lowered my Tahoe for like 6-8months but because the roads are so bad I went back to stock height and couldn't be happier. Some 20x12s will looks sick!

Each has their obvious pros and cons but it ultimately comes down to your preference. I've never owned a lifted vehicle but have driven them and absolutely loved it, but I prefer the look of a lowered truck. My 08 tahoe had a 2/3 drop and did just fine during the winter months and snow. My 04 before that was a 5/7 and also did just fine in the snow, but that being said I knew its limitations and never took it anywhere I wasn't 100% sure I could make it threw.

Drop it. Autoride and a lift/tires is not the way to go. Those t-cases break on trucks with 22" wheels. Good luck turning 35" tires. I hate to even call it a t-case because it's really not but that's what GM calls that thing.

What? I've had 24" rims and bigger for 6 years on my truck and my tcase is fine.

Lifted to accommodate more aggressive tires. I've seen some lowered Tahoe's and they look good.
