After my wife followed me home last night in her 2012 Acura TL that was funny enough emitting more light AHEAD of me than my Yukon...I admitted defeat and decided it's time to upgrade across the board.

I'm sure there's been more threads started than one can count for Yukon Denali lighting, but everyone has seemed to go a different direction for LED/HID fog lamps, high beams, etc. I just don't want to buy the wrong ones. I'm rather stumped how GMC put out a less than stellar lighting combination on such a late model vehicle?

I'm looking for the BRIGHTEST option possible for:

fog lamps, daytime running lights, and high beams. I'll take recommendations on tail lights/license plate frames too! Happy to buy from any forum sponsors as well or amazon referral links, etc. Don't go too ******* me...I'm new here :)

So, for starters (and the cost of a diode or LED), go with the fog light mod. This keeps the fogs on even with your brights on.

This would be done using the diode between pins on the BCM under the dash?

maybe do a retro-fit and buy the lens used by acura/audi? If you ever look at early 2000 model audi's (like the audi TT) and Acura TL/TSX from ~8 years ago, the cut off was very sharp, and the lights were very bright. That's because they used a VERY high quality glass projector. It wasn't unusual to find people in the tuner world to retrofit projectors in other cars.

I did a mod without diodes that keeps the LED fogs on while the ignition is on. No diodes, just a fused jumper in the box under the hood. Also, the auto dim feature still works with fogs if you have it.

I already have the DRL's, which are good enough for me but, report up. Or is there already a thread out there for it, for those that want to do it?

I will add some pics in a bit. I looked in my media file and didn’t see them.

I too am looking to upgrade my fog lights and head lights. There's a lot of threads on this, but I can get a "deer in headlights" look when it comes time to buy them as there are quite a few options. Direct feedback on specific 2017 fog lights and head lights options would be GREATLY appreciated.

This is what I bought from Amazon to upgrade my fog lights on my 2016 Tahoe. These are very bright and were plug and play,
