Hi All,
I'm new here and I have a 2008 GMC Yukon 4x4 that seems to like running with all the lights on too often. Last week I took it through a car wash, so as expected the lights came while I was inside. After I pulled out I thought, they'll switch back to DRL soon because the sun is out and bright. No so... I drove all the home (a few miles) in bright sun and the lights never switched back to DRL and the interior lights were almost impossible to see.
Shortly after I bought the Yukon I saw a post about this issue that suggested replacing the the light sensor on the dash. I did this but the condition seems to be the same. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated. I'm taking it to the dealer on Tuesday for regular maintenance and some other things, so it would be great if I had any idea what to tell them.
