Ok I actually asked the question in a thread I started, but for better reference I'll post my findings here instead. My question was if anyone uses an AC Delco (or it's other brand equivalent) PF61 instead of the PF46. They are for the most part the same except the PF61 is about an inch longer, and after doing some research has a slightly lower (30psi) burst strength.

Personally myself I went with the PF61. I run full synthetic 5W30 oil, don't rev the engine over 2,000 RPMs till it's warmed up, and feel the slightly larger filtering media area trumps the possibility of bursting the filter.
