Load leveler shocks for 02 Tahoe

I'm getting conflicting advice on whether or not coil over load levelers will fit my SUV. Local well know tire shop says that they will not fit. Shocks are listed for sale for my year tahoe. DOES anyone out there have either Gabriel or Monroe load leveler coil over shocks on their tahoe????? thanks for a reply....
