Hi guys, I've been looking at the 2014 Yukons and saw one that has every thing I want. It's an SLT with the SLT-2 and Z71 offroad package. Right color and everything.

Only issue is that it's a service loaner, with about 3900 miles on it. I test drove it and nothing serious stood out, in fact nothing at all really. On the inside I did find that one of the A/C vents in the second row was loose, like you could push it up past the headliner, probably some kid did that or something. They said it'd be easy to replace, just pop it out and put a new one in.

Anyway, the tires all look great, drives great as far as I can tell. I ran the CarFax on it and it was originally delivered to the dealer in December last year, and then they bought it to use as a loaner in March, and between early March and late April (almost two months) it accumulated 2800 miles. Then the other 1000 miles were put on from April to August. The engine hour meter read 134 hours, if that's of any use or not.

Anyway, advice is certainly welcome. I really like everything about it, just wish they had one exactly like it but that was not a loaner. The MSRP is supposedly 55k, they're asking 48k... what do you think? They're selling it as new since it has less than 7500 miles, and say it will have the factory warranty plus 1000 miles.

I think you can scate out of that buy getting an extra 800-1200 off fairly easily.

I would not worry about it being used as a loaner. Those that are given a SUV of that caliber are generally coming from an equal type vehicle. It's not a 17 year old kid doing neutral drops, off roading, or other. I'd have some piece of mind buying it myself.

Yukon Z71?

I wouldn't worry about it being a loaner. I WOULD work on the price though. $48k still seems a bit high, considering the 2015.5 will be out very soon.

^^ I agree. and correct me if I'm wrong, what he means by yukon z71 is that it has the off road package but a yukon. I'm pretty sure my yukon has that as well. its not like the tahoes where they changed the body up to look like an off road package, its just the essentials.

Yes, it's a Yukon, but with the Z71 package. Pretty sweet really. From what I'm hearing it's no big deal that it's a loaner, especially considering the warranty is still in effect, but I could work on the price a bit. Maybe I can get them down to 46k or something.

I wouldn't be afraid of it especially with warranty.

You kidding right?

Getting a GM SUV at my stealership is a great feat.

Also mostly well to do upper middle class people are the ones who can afford to buy a newer one. They are not abusing these trucks.

Beside. Now if you buy this truck and you take into service.... the may give you a new Tahoe as a loaner.

Are you a shumck that is going to abuse the loaner??????

Hmmmmmm

Lol

2WD or 4WD? Friend of mine just bought a 2014 Demo from our place with 6k miles, a 2LT, pretty much everything but Nav for $42k. Was a 2WD though.
