lock up on a 97 tahoe

My 97 Tahoe won't start starter is good batt was good till today when i tried start it again and last night it would not start and when i put it in neutral the rear wheels locked up for what ever reason when the ignition is on but truck is off and it feels like it is stuck in park and i'm starting to think that some kind of safty is engaging the trans to keep it like that and or it's stuck in gear for some reason and the truck won't start could someone might be able to point me in the right direction my email is [email protected]

mine did the same but all it was is the remote entry. the truck would not engage the starter. lock it and then unlock it from the keyless entry. then try. besides that locked up feel maybe the motor. was it knocking or anything? maybe vapor locked? check neutral saftey switch and make sure that the shifter rod has not come loose.
