Glad to hear you chose the burb for the trip.

I just got back from a road trip to Florida from east of Toronto.

3 adults and 3 children in the yukon xl.

The trip was very enjoyable. Very comfortable and the entertainment system and built in wifi kept the kids busy.
Where is east of Toronto? Oshawa here

Honestly it would depend on the sedan. Which one is more fun to drive? How many people and how much luggage are you taking? I personally take my Tahoe PPV on road trips only because my wife hates my 300 SRT8 and I don't want the dogs to scratch the leather in the back seat. Once my Caprice PPV is on the road that will probably become the road tripper unless we need to carry something big enough to still not require a trailer.

Am I the only one that doesn't find the suburban buckets comfortable? I often take our gmt900 Silverado on short trips just for that reason. And we bought our suburban for long trips! I know it's subjective ...im 6'3 and 240 but my wife is half my size and agrees.

I agree the 07-13 seats do get a little uncomfortable after 6-7 hours, im about the same dimensions and my right knee rides the center console, last coss country i did, i was driving my 05 yukon and i was comfortable the entire time!

I am 6.2 200 lbs and find my seats great. Sounds like your in the next model up from me. But have driven them also. I found the seats to be comfortable in the nnbs also. I guess it depends on what we all prefer.

Take the Suburban. I actually find my 06 seats the most comofortable out of NBS, NNBS and K2XX. But she doesn't do long trips. Those 2nd row bucket seats for the kids to keep them off of each other or separate in 2nd and 3rd row with the storage and the long body travel is worth whatever you may spend extra on V8 power fuel costs.
