In the household, we do have too many cars, so I decided to store my 2003 Tahoe 5,3 LT for the winter. (A total of six months.)
It is stored indoors in a heated and dry environment. (Garage.)
Before I stored it, I washed it and bought a large car cover I placed over it.
I disconnected and took out the battery.
Besides that, I have not done anything.
The truck has been stored for two months now, but the other day I started thinking if I had forgot something.
Are there any other precautions I should have taken? There are no rodents in the garage.

Thanks.

Fuel stabilizer of some kind. Fuel will break down. I don't know what you have in Norway but we have Stay-bil fuel stabilizer here.

Fresh engine oil and filter, front and rear diff's, transmission if it has been awhile. I would put them under the axle. just high enough to keep the tires off the ground.
