I have been reading on this forum for a while, without becoming a member, to search for answers and opinions on all sorts of stuff for my trucks. I became a member a few months ago but was inspired to write a posting after an experience with a vendor that was recommended on this site.

I have purchased for myself or for my family members a 1999 z71, 2003 Suburban, 2 2005 Denali XLs and a 2003 Yukon XL. Without exception, if something starts to crack, rattle or roll on one of the trucks, I come here and 99% of the time I have found suggestions for repair. My problem was a faulty information display unit on the dash cluster. Specifically, my steering wheel controls were not able to scroll through the information center and I would have a DIC with either French or Spanish as default. Some days were better than others. I replaced the steering wheel button to no avail and removed the dash, opened the cluster and visually inspected the welds for cold solders, again to no avail. I came on the this forum and one of the members recommended Larry at Forellco and so I looked him and and spoke with him about the problem.

Short story is that he was a consummate professional and overall gentleman. He answered my questions and performed a flawless job on my rebuild. I have included his invoice as well as a picture of my "AFTER" dash so you guys can see. I have had the dash installed for a little over one week and it has performed beautifully since installation.

This forum has been extremely useful to me and I suspect many others. I hope this helps someone. Thanks,
